Dr. Victor Moinina (PhD)Leadership and Governance Consultant - 🇸🇱
Victor is the Executive Director of Pro-Idealist Limited and a Lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration and Management in the Department of Governance and Leadership. Victor holds a Master of Science Degree in Governance and Regional Integration from the Pan African University Institute of Governance and a PhD in Governance and Regional Integration.
He has vast project management experience and exposure, having served as Youth Activist, and occupying related roles internationally. In 2008, he served as PRO, project organizer and legal representative of the World Charity Organization. Amongst other things, he managed all activities undertaken by the charity, legal documentation as well as statistical data of the beneficiaries.
He also has public service experience , actively participating in various field surveys for the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning in a Quantity Price Survey and the Public Expenditure Track Survey undertaken in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
He was the National Coordinator of the forum for the empowerment of women and girls in the United Kingdom, which later was transformed into forum for the Development of Young People in 2011. He is now the project director and will be hosting about 300 youths over the next 2 years in a business and educational empowerment summit in Freetown, Sierra Leone as part of the national rebranding after the ravaging effects of Ebola.
As a founding member of the African Union Youth Working, he has actively been involved in discussions concerning the integration of Africa. i.e., agenda 2063. He was the focal person for youths and livelihoods with the Volunteer Involving Organizations Network (VIONET), the National Network Coordinator at the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding- Sierra Leone and currently, He is a Board member at West Africa ICT Action Network.
He was also with the African Union Youth as a Volunteer, working with World Food Program in Ethiopia and as the Country Director of CILG- Sierra Leone.
