Alpha is an educationist with over 5 years’ experience in using proven project management, policy research, and design skills, to develop systems that monitor progress and enhance talent development. He seeks to use quantitative and qualitative methods to build a skills repository that unleashes the untapped potential of public and private sector personnel at different levels through coaching, mentorship, and industry-specific skills gap analysis.

He is also an Education Project Leader at the Office of the Mayor of Freetown where he provides training, mentorship, and administrative support to school leaders across 519 schools in Freetown and has recruited and trained 24 cluster mentors to support the Council in monitoring education outcomes in Freetown.

Alpha co-developed an education monitoring system that allowed the council’s Education Department to strategically manage 4,317 school visits and provide high-level oversight on 11,129 classroom observations in 519 schools in Freetown.

Alpha is the founder and Executive Director of Sustainable Education Africa, Sierra Leone while playing a lead role as a Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Public Administration and Management, Sierra Leone. As a Teaching Assistant, Alpha is said to have designed Project Management & Planning and Research Methods curricula for students studying Masters in Development Management and Masters in Public Administration, organized two panel discussions where government officials shared their experiences with students on the topics: Public Sector Management & Economic Policy Implementation and Civil Society Contribution in Sierra Leone’s Post-Covid-19 Recovery process and co-facilitated 11 masters classes and 27 undergraduate classes.

As the Founder of Sustainable Education Africa, he has piloted a Career Development Crash Course that benefited 19 unemployed Sierra Leonean youth with 68% job acquisition rate in six months after the course completion. Recently, he managed three business development bootcamps for CTI Consulting Limited in the implementation of the Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project across three universities – Limkokwing University, UNIMAK, and the Milton Margai Technical University.

Before forming his own company, Alpha was a Student Life Counselor at the African Leadership University where he designed six lesson plans to teach students Stress Management, Time Management, Coping Skills for Grief & Loss, Cultural Diversity, Gender-Based Violence, and Sexual Harassment & Consent.

From his professional background as an Educationist, he possesses skills in Project Management, Coaching, Researching, Critical Thinking and Creativity. Alpha serves as Board Member for Wells Mountain Initiative, Mo Ibrahim Foundation, Now Generation Network Patriotic Advocacy Network, Sierra Leone and Auradicals Foundation for Democracy & Human Rights just to mention but a few.
